Open consultation for refugees

An open consultation session takes place every Wednesday from 10:30 am to 12 pm at the Student Services Center (SSC). Please register first at the information desk then go to the desk by the stairs on the ground floor of the SSC.

Please register at the information desk no later than 30 minutes before the end of the consultation session.
During the session you will receive non-binding verbal information on university admission. A binding check of your university entrance qualification will only take place if you actually apply for a place or as a part of a preliminary review documentation via uni-assist (known in German as “VPD”) and is free of charge for refugees.

The undefinedanabin database is a tool for evaluating foreign education certificates and helps authorities, employers and private individuals to classify a foreign qualification in the German education system.

The study-in.de website provides general information for refugees about studying in Germany. This information is tailored to the needs of refugees who want to study and is available in German and English. The FAQs are also in Arabic, Urdu, Pashto and Dari.
