Since
2001/9/11 the frequency, complexity and internationality of terrorist
attacks has increased dramatically. The cells of modern terrorism are
spread all over the world, unified by shared ideologies.
The
coincidence of these constituent elements creates a unique threat and
requires an efficient defense as well as innovative intellectual
approaches and acting parameters.
As a result the Second
International Security Conference focuses on the phenomenon of modern
Terrorism and its countermeasures on an international and
interdisciplinary level:
What are the
sources, reasons and motives for modern terrorism?
How is modern
terrorism structured and organized?
How does modern
information technology build up the power and redundancy of
terrorist groups?
What are the
technological, political and cultural preventive measures and
solutions and how efficient are they?
How to attain an
efficient management of knowledge, a network between authorities and
intelligence services and a further development of security
technology?
How do local
security authorities and emergency services react on large cases of
damage?
How
can business enterprises adapt to the new threat – according
to their global activities? How can governments support this
adaption?
Government
representatives, diplomats, scientists and manager from Germany, EU,
United States, Israel and Russia will discuss these and other
questions – with the aim to work out solutions.
