The
Conference on Security and Privacy in Information Society is an
international
conference for the advancement of security in science, society and
economy.
This annual conference serves as a multidisciplinary forum for the
discussion
and exchange of information on the research, development and
application of all
topics related to security risks.
The open
global markets and network society involve numerous and serious
security risks:
cyber crime, viruses, misuse of data, industrial espionage and
international
terrorism threaten the fundamental values of democratic societies.
As a result economy, science, media and
citizens are increasingly dependent on secure information systems and
infrastructures.
The Third
International Security Conference spans all disciplines and levels of
security
in economy, politics and administration, science and media – on an
international level. Besides the conference focuses on IT law and risk
management, data protection and freedom of information. It will discuss
the
potential danger as well as the political and legal context and work
out
systematic methods of risk defense.
The First Security
Conference “Net and Computer Security” took place in Duesseldorf in
October
2003. The Second Conference in December 2004 in Berlin focused on the phenomenon of
modern

The Interdisciplinary Center (IDC)
Herzliya
is the first Israeli private university. Modeling on Anglo-Saxon

universities the IDC aims to train the future leaders in politics and

from the Arab states, from Europe and
USA.
The International
Policy Institute for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) Herzliya, Israel,
is a research institute and think tank dedicated to developing

in 1669 the Leopold-Franzens-University
Innsbruck is on of Austria’s
oldest universities. Today, with almost 2500 staff and 30.000 students,
seven
faculties and 120 departments and clinics, it is a place of learning

The Working Group for
Security in Economy (ASW) was founded by the central
organizations of
economy and the regional organizations for security in economy. It
represents
the security issues of economy in politics and administration and
supports the
cooperation between economy and government. |
