Stadtmuseum Düsseldorf
The museum, founded in 1874, is the City’s oldest and its collections encompass the art, culture and history of the regional capital and its European connections from early history until present day. Exhibits from everyday life as well as court life, an extensive portrait collection, topographical views, plans, fashion, videos, photographs and documents invite the visitor to investigate the City’s history.
Admission to the collections is free. Student concessions of 50 % are available for special exhibitions.
