In the Ständehaus, the Assembly House of the Estates and former parliament building of NRW, the Kunstsammlung Nordrhein-Westfalen exhibits spatial installations. Apart from well-known sections of the collection with international art from the 1980s onwards, exhibitions of work by younger artists are also shown. Installations by Christian Boltanski, Katharina Fritsch, Nam June Paik and many others are also on display.

Students benefit in both houses from a concession of 50 % on admission prices.
