Scholarships for HHU students
Heinrich Heine University offers scholarships for degree students fully enrolled at HHU:
Fully enrolled international degree students at HHU who have got into a financially precarious situation in the final phase of their studies can apply for the STIBET graduation grant (“Studienabschluss-Stipendium”).
Details on the prerequisites for application and the conditions of the scholarship can be found in the call for applications. Applications are accepted continuously.

Scholarships for exchange students and visiting researchers
HHU Exchange Scholarships
Heinrich Heine University (HHU) offers scholarships for BA/BSc and MA/MSc students from partner universities for student exchanges or research stays at HHU.
The International Offices of partner universities are invited to suggest students for HHU Exchange Scholarships to the International Office of HHU.
- March 20th for the winter semester
- September 20th for the summer semester
Erasmus+ exchange scholarships
As a student of Erasmus partner universities of HHU, you can apply for a stay as exchange student at Heinrich Heine University to the International Office of your home university. If you are accepted for the Erasmus+ mobility programme of the European Commission, you will be granted a partial scholarship (granted monthly) for your study stay at HHU.

NRW Scholarship Programme for students from the Middle East
The German state of North-Rhine Westphalia (NRW) offers short term scholarships for students from Israel, Palestine and Jordan for study and research stays at universities and research institutes: ⇒ NRW Middle East Scholarships.
