Cooperation

Heinrich-Heine University cooperates with more than 130 partners worldwide in the areas of teaching and research. Special emphasis is hereby put on cooperation projects within the European Union. Other important regional partnerships are with the USA, Japan and Israel. Projects initiated by Heinrich-Heine University's faculties are supported by state representatives. 

Heinrich-Heine University is a member of the German-French University (DFH), and offers double degrees in cooperation with international universities. In addition, it offers special non-term courses within the Duesseldorf Summer University (DSU) and houses the University Language Center (USZ).

The ERASMUS programme offers students the opportunity of funded internship or studies abroad. Moreover, Heinrich-Heine University maintains cooperation with businesses in France, Belgium, Italy and Great Britain.
