Travel Information


By Plane
The Düsseldorfer Rhein-Ruhr-Flughafen is one of the largest eurpean airports. It is convinient to take a connection to the main station and from there to the University line 707 to the terminal "Uni-Ost/Botanischer Garten".

By train
The Düsseldorf main station is connected with direct trains to many capital cities in Europe. For online reservations and train timetables please refer to the German Rail (Deutsche Bahn) website www.bahn.de . From the main station take tram 707, 711 or 716 to the terminal "Uni-Ost/Botanischer Garten".

By bus
To go by bus, you can take the lines 735, 827, 835, 836. Convinient is the station "Universität Mitte". For more information and timetables please refer to the website www.vrr.de.


By car

From the East
Coming from the A 3 (south/north) change to A 46 towards Düsseldorf at junction Hilden. Take the exit towards "D-Zentr.-Süd/ D-Universität" (in tunnel). Arrive in Düsseldorf, continue along B8/Werstener Straße. At the first traffic light turn left into the Universitätsstraße.

From the West
Coming from the A 57 at junction Neuss-Süd met A 57 and A 46l. Directly behind the bridge over the rhine (Fleher Brücke) take the exit Bilk / Zentrum/ Hafen/ Benrath. Then take the next exit "Benrath / Universität" and follow the street right. At the University are several parking areas. We indicate that wrong parked cars in the University area will be rigorous towed.
