Applications for Associated Research Projects:

After the first funding period the NRW Research School BioStruct was successfully evaluated for a second period.

Third-party sponsored research groups at HHU Düsseldorf and associated institutions, which work in the fields of molecular medicine and/or biotechnology and want to challenge a question in the field of structural biology can now apply for an associated PhD research project.

For successful projects the  core research groups of BioStruct offer cooperatively a broad  expertise in methods of structural biology. The associated group will participate in the selection process of PhD-Scholarship applicants and funded BioStruct Fellows will be provided for chosen PhD research projects.

Underlying Selection Criteria for successful projects are:
• Feasibility of project.
• Proximity and relationship to structural biology.
• Timely feasibility of biostructural research.
• Cooperation agreement with BioStruct core group
