One day before the release of the case for the 16th Vis Moot, Shearman and Sterling invited the German Moot teams to their Frankfurt office. Within eight hours the teams - among them the Düsseldorf Vis-Moot team - got a cross-section of theoretical and practical important facts about arbitration proceedings. Some presentations were tailored for the Moot and its special problems: how to create a good memorandum, how to persuade and how to present an oral argument. The day was concluded with wine, snacks and interesting conversations, especially with the were not at the 4th Frankfurt Drafting School and the 2nd Düsseldorf International Arbitration School. All-in-all, it was a nice day with International Arbitration and the Vis-Moot teams - special thanks to Shearman and Sterling!
