In order to provide Moot Court participants with an opportunity to practice their mooting skills in the run-up to Vienna, the subsection Rhine/Ruhr of the German Institution of Arbitration’s Young Arbitration Practitioners’ Group (DIS 40) again teamed up with the Moot Alumni Associations of the Universities of Düsseldorf and Frankfurt  and this time also the Circle of Friends of the Düsseldorf Law School to organise the

2nd Düsseldorf Pre-Moot Rounds

from March 26 to 28, 2009 in Düsseldorf, Germany (read more: About the Düsseldorf Pre-Moot Rounds).
 

Schedule: The Pre-Moot Rounds will start with a reception in the evening of Thursday, March 26, 2009. Hearings will be held on Friday/Saturday, March 27/28 in the conference rooms of various Düsseldorf law firms (see: venues) and be conducted by lawyers, judges, in-house-counsels and team coaches (learn more about them in the Pre-Moot Booklet which contains further information and elaborated CVs) .

The final pleading on Saturday afternoon will be arbitrated by three famous arbitrators from the Rhine/Ruhr region. The 2nd Düsseldorf Pre-Moot Rounds are made posible through generous financial support of several law firms (see: sponsors).
