Originally from the Los Angeles area, I came to UCLA in September 1988 as an undergraduate. I received my B.S. in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics in December 1992, and stayed on at UCLA to enroll in medical school in August 1993. After deciding that nine years in Los Angeles was enough time in one spot, I received my M.D. in May 1997 and left to begin my residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Washington, Seattle. If you are reading this before June 25th, 2000 then I am (hopefully!) still enrolled in that residency program. If you are reading this after, then I have no idea where I am.  =)

If you are curious, the photograph to the left is from my wedding day. I am not the one in the dress.  ;)

Although I am no longer at UCLA, I am still continuing to work on and improve this site in my (infrequent) spare time. Future plans include addition of graphics to help visualize the audio patterns of the murmurs, and more detailed explanations of each murmur. I’d love to hear of any other suggestions for improvement, or comments if you found the site useful. You can contact me by clicking on the button below.
