Aims
The group aims to assist in the collection, discussion, dissemination and application of data relating to the epidemiology of diabetes mellitus, its diagnosis, its complications and its allied disorders. Although primarily European, it will work in collaboration with the W.H.O. and other organisations interested in diabetes epidemiology. The Group will also review work in progress, suggest future lines of work, review and comment upon the design, progress and outcome of surveys and clinical trials.

EDEG Diabetes Epidemiology Training Courses

EDEG organizes every three years an advanced diabetes epidemiology course. The course is hosted by the University Medical Center Utrecht, the Netherlands. The third advanced course is planned for spring 2004.
