Diploma (MSc) Student Position

In order to expand our ongoing research activity on functional genome analysis of normal B cell development, we are currently seeking a dedicated individual for a Diploma (MSc) Student position. The position (paid according to SHK wage scale on a 16 hours per week basis) is immediately available for one year. The position also includes an option to continue the research project as a PhD-student after successful completion of the Diploma/ MSc project.

Our current research focusses on the identification and functional characterization of novel candidate genes that are involved in normal B cell differentiation in the human (no animal experimentation). The project involves –among others- the SAGE (serial analysis of gene expression) and RNA interference techniques.
